Editor's Note
Alanya Archaeological Museum, established in 1967 and refurbished in 2012, is divided into archaeological and ethnographic sections. It holds ceramic, marble, bronze and glass pieces and mosaics from the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods, with a notable 2nd-century bronze statue of Hercules measuring 52 centimetres in height.
