Editor's Note
The METU Archaeology Museum, on the METU campus in the Çankaya district of Ankara, was founded in 1969 by Kemal Kurdaş. It was established to preserve and display artefacts from sites on the campus grounds, such as Yalıncak and Koçumbeli, and from the Phrygian necropolis in Ankara, and is the first university museum in Turkey.
