Editor's Note
The Istanbul University Zoology Museum is a natural history museum on the top floor of the Biology Department at the university's Vezneciler Campus, reflecting the fauna of Turkey. The first zoology museum in the country, it was founded in 1933 and rearranged in 1989. Organised into collection and exhibition sections, it displays around 2,034 species, of which some 1,500 are insects.
