Editor's Note
Adıyaman Archaeological Museum is an archaeology museum in the heart of the city on Atatürk Boulevard. Work began in 1978, and the museum moved to its present modern building in 1982. Divided into archaeological and ethnographic sections, it displays finds from the surrounding area spanning the Paleolithic through the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods, including items recovered during the Southeastern Anatolia Project.
