TCG Gayret (D-352) is a Gearing-class destroyer that today serves as a museum ship in İzmit, Turkey. Launched in 1946 by Todd-Pacific Shipyards as USS Eversole (DD-789), she was named for naval aviator Lieutenant John T. Eversole, killed at the Battle of Midway. After service in the U.S. Navy, she served in the Turkish navy from 1973 to 1995 before becoming a museum ship.
