Örtülü Çeşme

Örtülü Çeşme is a historic fountain in the Vize district of Kırklareli. As it bears no inscription its exact construction date is unknown, but its architecture dates it to the Ottoman period, and it was registered as a protected cultural property in 2018. The rectangular, single-faced fountain with a pointed arch has watering troughs for animals on its north and west sides; it was restored on the initiative of the local neighbourhood headman and covered with a hipped roof.
