Editor's Note
It is in the centre of Koyulhisar district. According to its inscription, the Monumental Fountain was built in 1918 as the Turkish army's debt of gratitude to the people of Koyulhisar: "This is the army's token of gratitude and remembrance for the valuable services rendered during military transport by the men and women of the Koyulhisar district in the years 1333 and 1334, during the term of district governor Ahmet Rıfat Bey of Ordu. 25 September 1334."
