Editor's Note
The establishment, whose foundations date back to the 1920s, was founded by Sıddık Ergincan. Trading in spices and dried fruits and nuts under the name Merkez Kurukahveci until 1950, the business opened its Kadıköy branch in 1952 under the name Brezilya. It was the first establishment to import coffee into Turkey. To this day it still uses the same variety of arabica coffee. Source: Brezilya Kurukahve Kuruyemiş.
