Cemal Süreya’nın Yaşadığı Ev

The poet Cemal Süreya lived in the 1980s at the Başak Apartment Building No. 27, on the street now named Cemal Süreya Street. In 2011 the Writers' Union of Turkey placed a plaque in honour of Cemal Süreya at the entrance of this building. Five paving stones bearing his poems and sayings were set into the sidewalk in front of the building.
