Editor's Note
Built in 1939, the building was designed by architect Zeki Sayar. Reflecting the modern architecture of the early Republican period, its demolition came onto the agenda in 2023. This fine structure, designed in a style quite modern for its era, is expected to be registered as a cultural asset in 2025.
