Editor's Note
This is a tobacco-monopoly building, built in the Art Deco style in 1930 by Robert Mallet-Stevens on the orders of Atatürk. After its land was sold to a construction group with foreign partners in 2009, a shopping mall and a plaza were built and the original factory building was demolished. Reconstructed by the method of reconstruction, the factory building now serves as an art gallery.
