Editor's Note
The fountain on Mihrabat Avenue, located up the upper reaches of Mihrabad Avenue in Kanlıca, has no distinctive features in terms of form. Water flows continuously from its iron spout into the basin in front of it. No inscription can be seen on the fountain. However, the carvings on the large marble mass placed beside it, resembling an ancient sarcophagus, are noteworthy. 1
