Editor's Note
Founded in 1961 by a family of Yugoslav origin, the establishment later changed hands; when it did, "Yeni" (New) was added to the front of its name, but it carried on with the same masters and recipes and has survived to the present day. It is famous for its dry savory buns (poğaça) and almond cookies (acıbadem). Source: Hayat Pastanesi.
