Editor's Note
The Hodegon Monastery was a monastery in Constantinople. It was allegedly founded by Saint Pulcheria (399-453), a daughter of Emperor Arcadius. It is considered one of the three principal Marian foundations of the city, alongside the Blachernai and the Chalkoprateia.
