The Mihrişah Valide Sultan Mosque is a two-minaret mosque located between the Halıcıoğlu Barracks and the Golden Horn Bridge. Although named after its patron Mihrişah Valide Sultan, it is also widely known as the Kumbarhane Mosque or the Bombardiers' Barracks Mosque because it was built in the middle of the barracks of the bombardiers and sappers.
