Editor's Note
The mansion on Köybaşı Avenue was built by Hristaki Efendi in the third quarter of the 19th century. For a time it was run as a hotel by Hristaki Efendi, and was later purchased by the Nikolaidis family. Registered under protection No. 101 in 1971 by the Council for Immovable Antiquities and Monuments, the building is used today as a restaurant.
