Filinta Konağı

Filinta Mansion was built in the first quarter of the 19th century. Consisting of a basement and a ground floor, the mansion is one of the rare civil structures reflecting the features of traditional Kayseri houses. Its stone-arched sections, plaster ornamentation, and carved wooden ceiling medallion are the main elements revealing the building's period architectural character. The mansion is known to have belonged to Filintenin Şıh İbrahim Efendi, who served as Mayor of Kayseri between 1906 and 1908 during the Ottoman period.
