Built of cut stone on a high terrace to the right of the Hersekzâde Mosque, this tomb is unusual in form and resembles an open-air prayer platform (namazgâh). The top of the terrace, reached by a nine-step staircase, is enclosed by a marble balustrade and has a marble doorframe with an arch worked in the classical style. Parts of it are clearly missing, and if this open grave site was not in fact originally roofed, such a tall doorframe would have been unnecessary.
