The tomb is west of the city center of Bolu, 13 km from the city and 4 km from the Abant Junction in a northerly direction, in the village of Elmalık, on the hill named after him where he founded his lodge. The gravestones are of marble and of recent make. The site of the tomb includes a burial ground, a mosque, a still-active lodge, a soup kitchen where meals are distributed every day, and a picnic area within the woodland covered with century-old trees of every kind. Hayreddin Tokadî Efendi is one of the renowned sheikhs of the Halvetiye order. As there is not enough information about his life, no details could be found about where or when he was born.
