Editor's Note
As the masjid has no inscription, its original construction is estimated, from its architecture, to date to the 14th century. Located in the Hacıbayram Neighbourhood, the longitudinal rectangular-plan masjid is a building with adobe walls on a stone foundation, a wooden-beamed ceiling and a tile roof. Although the building is small, its wooden-beamed ceiling forming the upper covering carries the characteristics of Ankara's late Seljuk and early Ottoman mosques. The corner brackets of the ceiling beams have curved, rounded ends. The narthex (last congregation place) on the north side of the masjid, closed on two sides and open at the front, was added during the 2009 restoration.
