Although the Susuz Village Mosque bears no inscription, expert assessments comparing it with similar buildings date it to between the late 14th and the 15th century, based on features such as its basilical plan, its beamed wooden ceiling, its painted decoration, its plaster mihrab, and its Miletus-ware bowl ornamentation.
