Editor's Note
The wooden inscription in the arched section of the prayer-hall door states that the mosque was built in 1872-73 (AH 1289). It was constructed on a longitudinal rectangular plan. Its body walls are of rubble stone masonry, with the corners made of neatly dressed stone. It has a wooden ceiling. One enters the portico through an arched, double-leaf wooden door, and the prayer hall through an arched, stone-jambed, rectangular double-leaf wooden door. The pediment of the wooden women's gallery to the north is decorated with geometric laths. In the lower part of the gallery there is a round boss with geometric motifs and laths arranged in coffering.
