Editor's Note

Kurt Erdmann, who visited Paşa Han on 18 November 1955 and recorded it as No. 23, describes its location as follows: "The inn lies in a field about 15 km northeast of Sivas, on the Tavra Stream, roughly 100 m to the right of the present-day road. There is no settlement nearby. It undoubtedly forms one of the first stops north of Sivas; whether it is on the road to Niksar or to Turhal remains to be investigated. It is probably the same as the 'ruin' marked at this point on the Kiepert map."
