Editor's Note
It was built by the people of Bayındır Village. There is an appointment decree dated 1 February 1807. Through repairs over time it has lost its original architecture; its mihrab and minbar have been changed and a new minaret built. The mosque has a wooden ceiling and a wooden women's gallery as well. It is open for worship today. Source: Mamak History and Culture Atlas, Abdülkerim Erdoğan, Vol. 1, pp. 429-430.
