Şavşat Castle (Satleli Castle) is a castle built in the village of Satleli in the historical region of Şavşeti. Based on its plan and architecture it is thought to have been built during the Georgian Kingdom in the 9th century. The village of Satleli later became a neighborhood of Şavşat, hence the castle's modern name.
