Editor's Note
The Akbas Han is a structure, now in a fairly ruined state, located near the village of Akbas to the southwest of Obruk in Konya. The English traveler Sterrett referred to the inn as the Dibidelik Han. Although its full plan is not known, it is thought to have had a courtyard in front followed by a longitudinal central nave. On either side of the central nave there were a total of ten bays roofed with barrel vaults. These bays were separated from the central aisle and from one another by arches. Today little trace remains of the building or its decoration.
