Editor's Note
It is in the Turan district, one of Isparta's oldest settlements. It is thought to have been built around 1750. With its main axis running north-south, the church has a rectangular plan, three naves and an apse. The building, measuring 15 by 26 meters, has an entrance door on the north, west and east sides. The ceiling is made of wood and covered with a cross vault plastered with mortar on the outside, resting on ten columns. The columns are timber inside and plastered outside; they have no bases and bear Corinthian capitals. The floor of the apse is 70 cm higher than the main hall. The apse is lit by three large windows below and three small windows above.
