Editor's Note
Little of the city has survived to the present day. In the quotations he made in his doctoral thesis titled 'The Cult of Artemis in Anatolia', Yusuf Albayrak wrote as follows: the ancient city of Andeda was founded in the area where the village of Yesilyayla now lies, about 24 km north of the centre of Korkuteli district in Antalya Province (697). At Andeda, on one altar, a depiction of Helios appears on the left, Artemis Selene above a crescent on the right, and on the reverse an indistinct object, perhaps two women's heads.
