Story

Preserved in the Yenimahalle district of Ankara, the Tomb of Alparslan Türkeş is the final resting place of the legendary leader of the Turkish nationalist movement. Born in 1917 and passing away in 1997, Türkeş shaped Turkey's political landscape as the architect of the idealist (ülkücü) ideology. Adorned with marble and stonework, the tomb area was built with a simple yet meaningful design.
