Editor's Note
The Khedive's Palace stands within a roughly 188,651 m² grove on the slopes of the Anatolian shore of the Bosphorus, in the Çubuklu neighborhood of Istanbul's Beykoz district. The mansion was commissioned in 1907 by Abbas Hilmi Pasha, the last Khedive of Egypt, from the Italian architect Delfo Seminati, and is built in the Art Nouveau style fashionable at the time.
