Büyük Abud Efendi Hanı

The Abud Efendi Han is a historic commercial building on Tarakçılar Street in the Mahmutpaşa quarter of Istanbul. Built in 1895 by architect Teochari Bassilades, its glass-and-metal construction makes it one of the first modern structures of its era. The four-storey han, fronting three streets, has preserved its original character with wrought-iron staircases, wide corridors and hotel-like rooms.
