Story

Ardesen, the green face of Rize, is known as a historic trading center set in the humid, fertile air of the Black Sea. From Ottoman times onward, this region held an important stop in Anatolia's commercial networks. With the start of tea cultivation in the 20th century, Ardesen's landscape changed entirely; green hills took the place of what had been yellow plains. On the ATV Safari Tours, visitors set out on a journey of discovery through this unique geography. The hum of the ATV's engine blends with the rustle of the tea gardens. The narrow roads wind up the mountain slopes; at every turn, the blue horizon of the Black Sea spreads into view.
