Editor's Note
Edirnekapı (the Gate of Charisius) is one of the gates of the Theodosian Walls of Istanbul, located within the Fatih district at the edge of the Edirnekapı neighbourhood to which it gives its name. It takes its Turkish name from the road leading toward Edirne.
