The Prinkipo Greek Orphanage is a historic wooden building on Büyükada, one of the Princes' Islands off Istanbul in the Sea of Marmara. Serving as an orphanage from 1903 until its closure in 1964, the roughly 20,000-square-metre structure is considered the largest wooden building in Europe and the second largest in the world.
