Three of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World stood on or near Anatolian soil. The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus (Bodrum) and the Temple of Artemis (Selçuk) survive only as foundations and scattered fragments, but standing on them is its own kind of wonder.
